Students benefit from academic learning, practical experience, stipends, accommodation, and the guidance of expert mentors.

Building the Future:
The Sir Stephen Miller School of Nursing

Our Sir Stephen Miller School of Nursing, accredited by Al-Quds University, offers first-class postgraduate training to future ophthalmic nurses. Each year, we award scholarships to eight students, many of whom would otherwise be unable to pursue further education. Graduates often join our team, while others contribute their expertise across the region — spreading our impact far beyond the classroom.

Postgraduate Research & Growth

SJEHG has seen a remarkable rise in research output, with 39 peer-reviewed publications between 2015-2025 – a fivefold increase from the previous decade.

This growing research culture continues to elevate our regional and international reputation.

Restoring Sight Together

SJEHG’s three-year partnership with ESCRS, launched in 2023, aims to reduce a severe cataract backlog in the West Bank and Gaza while providing European ophthalmologists with hands-on experience in treating complex cases in vulnerable communities.
