MAP OF SERVICES
St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group (SJEHG) is a network of hospitals and clinics operating in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza. With hospitals in Jerusalem, Hebron, Nablus, and Gaza, and clinics in Kufor Aqab and Jerusalem’s Old City (Muristan), we serve a large and diverse population across the region.
In 2024, SJEHG treated over 175,000 patients — a record milestone — and performed more than 4,000 complex surgeries. Approximately one third of our patients are children, and in 2024, 79% of those we treated were women and girls.
We also run two mobile outreach programmes in the West Bank, and our new Child Screening Initiative brought vital care to over 50,000 people in 2024.
In 2025, SJEHG opened a new hospital in Nablus, marking a major milestone in its mission to provide accessible eye care. For the first time, residents of the northern West Bank no longer need to travel to Jerusalem for surgical treatment.
