OUR Partners
Our life-changing work relies on the generous support of our donors. Without their contributions, we would not be able to continue saving sight and transforming lives. The patients and staff at SJEHG are deeply grateful for the vital support received throughout 2024/25. We sincerely appreciate the ongoing commitment from the St John Priories, whose assistance plays an essential role in furthering our mission.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Guild, the St John Ophthalmic Association, the Friends of St John Society, the Alliance of the Orders of St John, St John Associations, and the St John Fellowship for their enduring and crucial support.
SOME OF OUR CURRENT PROJECTS

Fred Hollows Foundation (West Bank)
This project focuses on expanding access to eye care services across Jerusalem, Kufr Aqab, and Hebron. Activities include mobile outreach clinics, a residency programme to train future ophthalmologists, and support for the development of a nursing school. The project also enhances operational efficiency through the implementation of a Health Management Information System (HMIS) and a Group-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Fred Hollows Foundation (Gaza)
In Gaza, the project supports our Emergency Medical Response Plan, enabling us to respond more effectively to urgent eye health needs in a region facing significant humanitarian challenges. This includes bolstering frontline services and ensuring continuity of care during times of crisis.

Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD)
This partnership supports the delivery of sight-saving surgeries across multiple locations, helping to expand access to eye care for underserved communities. It also plays a vital role in reducing the backlog of patients caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, QFFD funding is enabling the repurposing and development of key facilities at our Jerusalem Hospital, including the enhancement of outpatient services to meet growing demand.

Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development
This project focuses on the renovation of the Nablus Hospital and the purchase of essential equipment, increasing SJEHG’s capacity to treat more patients and deliver world-class eye care.

Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN
CBN provides vital support to our Patient Relief Fund, enabling life-changing surgeries for underprivileged patients who would otherwise be unable to afford care. This funding helps ensure that financial hardship is never a barrier to receiving expert, sight-saving treatment.
